The Castle Of Bodiam

Situated in East Sussex, England, Bodiam Castle, constructed in 1385 by the extraordinary Sir Edward Dalyngrigge, has been maintained in remarkable condition. Scientists have found that the walls of the castle were too slender to be used in a battle and its moat was not suitable for defense, implying it was made to be a symbol. Despite this, the castle and its water slides still appear fantastic, and it is remarkable to observe a structure that has been part of so many wars and yet still in such a great state. Fortunately, the castle was renovated by Lord Curzon.
