16. The Kerry Way Trail Between Sneem And Kenmare

Dutch Island, situated in Chesapeake Bay, Maryland, is deteriorating quickly. Once populated by anglers and agriculturists, they have now deserted the place. The house on the island was erected in the year 1888 and has been fighting against the shrinking shoreline for the last hundred years. In spite of the attempts of the past owner, Stephen White, he was not able to stand up to the power of nature and hence the house and the island could not be preserved.
