The Pomeranian, which has now shrunk in size considerably, is a descendant of large dog breeds used for sledding. It is a popular pet, known for its foxy face and the motto of “the little dog who knows he can”. It is a small, energetic dog, which can be trained to do agility and obedience events, or simply be a loyal companion to its owner.
