Red carpet events provide more than just an opportunity for celebrities and fashion designers to pose for pictures on the red carpet; they are also used by fashion houses to showcase their collections and find exposure for themselves. Unfortunately, even some of the industry’s biggest names have had to cope with unexpected fashion complications at such high-profile events.

1) Dakota Johnson

Dakota Johnson made her way through the People’s Choice Awards 2016 red carpet without incident; however, an incident of clothing slipping occurred while she was performing live on stage.

Dakota Johnson had an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction while accepting her award for Favorite Dramatic Movie Actress from 50 Shades of Grey. However, Leslie Mann managed to quickly secure it just in time – she even joked with Johnson that had her top come off then it wouldn’t have been anything unexpected or unseen by anyone already!

2) Bella Hadid

At the 2016 Cannes Film Festival, Bella Hadid faced numerous challenges when wearing her timeless red floor-length dress with high leg slit and heels. While she managed to pull it off without incident, its train proved particularly challenging to manage.

Lily-Rose Depp was in attendance to show her appreciation of Lily-Rose Depp as an exceptional performer at The King premiere.

At the premiere, the actress chose a gown from Chanel’s 2020 range with an intricate ruffled halter top and ruffled texture adorned with ruffled texture. At one point during filming, a powerful gust of wind threatened to displace it; she simply laughed it off and repositioned it again for future photographs.

Emily Ratajkowski is no stranger to wearing intricate clothing as a fashion model; as such, donning her gold gown at the 2017 Golden Globe Awards likely came easily for her. Yet it was evident in some photos that its long train caused some difficulties for Emily Ratajkowski.

Chloe Grace Moretz Due to overexertion, she managed to damage the seam at the back of the sleeve, leading to it splitting at its seam line and becoming evident only when giving out autographs. If anything had to tear apart though, this shoulder damage should not pose too much of a danger.

The only issue was that the stilettos just wouldn’t remain tied despite the fact that it took two aides to even get them on. In between shots, their assistants had to keep retightening the laces. Gigi Hadid even gave her followers a look at the back of the scenes in a Snapchat video, displaying Jenner attempting to take the sandals off at the end of the event.

At the opening night of The Blackcoat’s Daughter, the celebrity’s violet gown began to tear apart. In the photo, it is clear that one arm was completely separated down the middle. She told PeopleStyle, “My sleeve was about to drop off and my body would have been uncovered!”

When George Clooney offered to repair Canalis’ zipper himself, her predicament was quickly resolved without recourse to Hollywood industry assistance.

15) Emma Stone

Emma Stone had no issues as she made her way down the red carpet wearing her Dior outfit, consisting of both a suit and dress from Dior. Things seemed to go smoothly until Birdman cast members were called up to receive the Best Ensemble award; unfortunately Naomi Watts accidentally stumbled over Stone’s train but was saved from falling by Edward Norton.

Lady Victoria Hervey encountered an uncomfortable challenge at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival when her dress featuring low-cut neckline and high slit proved quite successful as she posed on the red carpet; however, a gust of wind threatened to ruin it altogether and cause a fall on the red carpet; however she managed to remain in control and only suffered a minor slip up.

17) Chrissy Teigen

Chrissy Teigen At one event, Teigen donned a white dress featuring a split up the front; unfortunately, during the course of the evening it grew larger until eventually a five inch tear appeared and needed to be covered up by her bag in an attempt to control it. Teigen posted a picture online as proof of this incident in order to try and contain it.

Kaitlyn Bristowe donned a black dress to attend an event; however, due to a tear in its zipper on the back of her gown she was unable to maintain her modesty and was relieved that a generous couple offered her a coat as protection from further incidents.

Beyonce’s stunning outfit came at the cost of reduced mobility, she could rely on Jay-Z, one of the acclaimed artists of our era, as she traversed the red carpet from photo op to photo op for each red carpet appearance.
